CD ZIRCO MONOLITHIC are made from 100% pure zirconia or zirconium dioxide (ZrO2). At 1200 MPa, the Zirconia has a comparable flexural strength of traditional PFM restorations while maintaining a natural and vibrant translucency. These crowns are milled from solid blocks of zirconia and are sintered over 1500 degrees celsius and are almost unbreakable.

 

CD The product is 100% metal-free, a property that prevents gingival darkening and removes the possibility of exposing metallic margins if gum recession begins. They are naturally esthetic, transmit the color of adjacent teeth, and can be matched to any shade. For patients with compromised occlusion or parafunction, monolithic zirconia crowns may be fabricated with as little as 0.5 mm of occlusal reduction. Utilizing CAD/CAM technology, it also has a precise marginal fit that can significantly reduce chair time.

Contraindications

• Not recommended for anterior crowns, bridges, or veneers in the esthetic zone due to opacity of the material
